Charity Double Header Announced
There's nothing like the feeling of being on stage, making music and watching people light up as they sing or dance along to the tunes. But having the opportunity to do that AND make money for a good cause... well, that tops it all. GOOROOS have been blessed in the past to do shows for charity, but this coming March they will hit the stage twice in the same weekend with all proceeds benefiting others.

On Friday March 9th at 210 Restaurant in Highwood, Highland Park High School is hosting a fundraiser to replace severely outdated equipment and to raise money for their annual spring trip. The fundraiser will include a silent auction, dinner, and GOOROOS rounding out the night.
On Saturday March 10th at the Original Sundance Saloon in Mundelein, GOOROOS join forces with other local bands (Poison'd Crue, AudioWise, In The Stix, Rebel Reign and Pet Rock) for "Lifting Up Our Angels" - a benefit for Angels On The Moon. A volunteer-only, nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization, Angels On The Moon focuses on assisting local families tasked with the unexpected burden of laying their child to rest, and the cost associated with this very painful task. They pride themselves in being supportive to grieving families in their time of need. For more information, check out www.angelsonthemoon.net
